Hardened Slow-Speed Quantitative Filter Paper, Low Ash 0.02%, Pore 7–9 μm

PRAT DUMAS
Hardened quantitative filter paper, slow speed, max. 0.02% ash. Sits between ash-free quantitative (max. 0.002%) and low-ash qualitative (max. 0.06%) grades—suitable for quantitative work where absolute mineral residue is not critical. Recommended for fine precipitates: barium sulphate, lead sulphate, zinc sulphate, nickel sulphate, barium fluoride and barium hydroxide. Wet-strength reinforced. Pore 7–9 μm, thickness 290 μm, basis weight 80 g/m². Equiv. Whatman 50. Available as circles (100 units, shrink-wrapped) and folded.

Hardened Slow-Speed Quantitative Filter Paper, Low Ash 0.02%

Hardened quantitative filter paper with 7–9 μm pore size and max. 0.02% ash content. An intermediate grade between ash-free quantitative paper (max. 0.002%) and low-ash qualitative paper (max. 0.06%)—suited to quantitative work that does not demand the absolute minimum mineral residue.

Recommended precipitates

Retains fine precipitates. Recommended for:

  • Barium sulphate
  • Lead sulphate
  • Zinc sulphate
  • Nickel sulphate
  • Barium fluoride
  • Barium hydroxide

Slow flow rate ensures effective retention of fine particles without compromising filtrate integrity.
